I moved from Lansing to Kincheloe November 1, and was hoping to find some UP craftsters on here.  Nothing so far; anyone from the Sault Ste Marie area?

I grew up in Kincheloe and now live down near Detroit. I come up 3 or 4 times a year. It will be hard to find supplies up there!! I heard they know have a Joannes though....next time I am up maybe we can get together for a project. Send me a PM and let me know what you do.

Yeah, they have a JoAnn's, but their yarn selection is TERRIBLE.  Their fabric selection is about average for JoAnn's.  I do a little of everything...so I'm slowly trying to figure out how to get what I need up here.

I'm in the Soo. Smiley  Have you been to Gloria's?  They have fabric and yarn; I haven't been there yet, but here's the website: http://gloriasquilts.com/index.html

Yeah, I went there once.  I liked what she had as far as yarn, but I've been spoiled.  I used to work for a yarn store in Lansing that was something like 2000 sq-ft of yarn!  I know that doesn't do me any favors. Wink
