I finally satiated my curiosity about spinning, and of course, being me, I dove right into the harder techniques Tongue Who wants overspun singles for their first try? Not I, said I! So I spun some numnums, as seen here:

And I waited about... a half hour? Then I couldn't stand looking at it being all fluffy and pretty and non-wearable Tongue

Too bad it's -30 Celcius outside. I probably won't be able to wear it til April.. QQ

so squishy and beautiful!
it's so cold out (same as your neck of the woods) my house is freezing indoors too.

Fluffy and puffy perfect for where I live if you can get past people starting at you trying to figure out why you only have half a hat on... back water country here. Anyway I'd wear it all the time too if it didn't get to warm around here. Great job. Are the beads just sewn on or are they a string of beads that you held with the yarn and crocheted into the stitch?

The beads are two short lengths of garland, actually. I spun them right into the wool while I was making the yarn Cheesy

It's still really darn cold around here, and even in the house I wear a proper toque! My ears aren't cold, ALL of me is cold Tongue
