I really like this.  It puts yet another dimension into squares.   Making a quilt for my sister, have the fabric, although not scraps, think I will do something like this for her.   especially like the outside colour you have chosen and the backing.

You totally inspired me with this quilt. :-D I dug into my bin and found a stack of fat quarters and went to work...  I'll be posting my finished quilt hopefully next week.

Thanks!!  Choosing a "border" and binding was the hardest part about making this quilt.  I spread out a bunch of my fabric and draped the blocks over them to see what felt right.  As luck would have it, my favorite fabric was only a remnant, so I had to go to the quilt store.  I found 3 fabrics that were very similar, but I couldn't decide which one to use, so I used all three!!   Sadly, I just got a note in the mail that this  quilt store has gone out of business.  Sad, sad day.

I have to find a backing that will work for it...  But once it's actually completed, I'll have it up there. :-)
