Hi,

i have been using Craftster a lot for inspiration in the last two years and now registered because i have a big problem... i hope somebody can offer some advice.

i am moving, didn't have much time to look around for flats (new job starts soon) and after a few rounds of house viewing found a flat, which in general looks great BUT has an enormous problem ... the "toilet room":

what you see there at the right is in fact the door. you can barely sit in the little room. a person that is bigger than average, probably cannot even close the door properly. now i need an idea of what to put in front of the door that in the worst case scenario someone could leave the door a little bit open. may a folding screen be an option?

the door itself is unremarkable, it opens into the hallway.

please help!

I would purchase an inexpensive tension rod or narrow shower curtain rod. Place it just inside the bathroom up above the top of the door. I would hang a very simple fabric panel.  Possibly and old twin sheet. Most of the time it be left at one side of the bathroom door, so it doesn't get in your way.

If you want to put up a folding screen, I would make it fun and functional.
Paint it to look like doors to an old saloon or maybe a entrance to a pub.

Just a thought or two.
