Child sized scoodie for my daughter

I've been wanting to make a scoodie for a while but I'm super lazy.   That is until I actually made one. Now I'm on a roll!

Here is the scoodie I made for my 3 year old.I used a floral knit that my mother-in-law gave me ( I was actually not fond of it and she gave me A LOT!)  and a pink sherpa I had for cloth diapers. The scarf is shorter than I'd make for myself because long bits around kids' necks makes me a little nervous.





And her she is modelling the scoodie in her cutest model pose.  



Now that I've finished one I want need to make more! I have the pieces cut out for a scoodie for my oldest daughter, my son has requested one, I think I'll make one for my niece's upcoming birthday and I want one for my cold head too.

Great job on the scoodie!  I've had one on my OWS list forever but it looks as if I'll have to break down and make my own if I really want one.  I completely agree that its smart to make the ends shorter for the little ones, very smart.

i had never heard of a scoodie until about 30 seconds ago when i clicked onto your project. It's freakin amazing! you did an amazing job and i love the fabrics you chose. Your daughter should be the poster child for scoodies! Too cute!

I think these scoodies are the best invention ever!! I think I actually learned of them here. Man I LOVE this place!

I just finished my second scoodie for my oldest daughter. I'll have to take pics and add them to this post. I made hers with the same fabric ( did I mention I have A LOT of that floral knit???) but the shape is slightly different. I put a bit of a point at the back and I may add a pom pom.

Look at the little angel! Daaaawwwwwww! lol I recognize that floral knit, Lexi had a little shirt made of it and pockets on a little denim jumper to go with it.
