here are some little books i've been working on (that's a quarter up front):

they're made with a variety of techniques:sewn binding, padding cement, japanese accordian, etc.
here's a larger one (about 4"x6"):

and a blurry closeup of the image under a large glass marble (it's michaelangelo's hand of god touching man):

and one more:

and a closeup of the doodads (shisha mirrors and glass marbles)

Beautiful!

I love that squeared one with the bow
Nice use of those glasmarbles. I wonder how it would look like if you covered up a the whole front with those

I'm going to try the bookbinding thing myself for the first time today when I get home from school Smiley

WOWOW! I LOVE the little book with the glass marbles on it! what did you use to stick them on? They all look beautiful! You should maybe think of selling some at a craft fair or something, they look really nice!

thanks for the nice comments!

what did you use to stick them on?

i used duco cement (brand name).
and i am planning on selling them, as soon as i make some more-they're still experimental, so my friends are getting them as gifts.
