I made a pair of these (with my 3 year old assistant) in about 10 minutes, so cheap, easy and the puppy loves them!(I saw some in PetSmart for $7 each, and made my own for $1 each).

I did a step by step on my blog, but these were basically cut, tie, braid, tie, toss to puppy!

hmm...cant post a picture yet, the link is above! Hopefully I can edit and add one soon!

Those are so cool. Are they polar fleece or would any fabric work?

I made this too! They are so cheap and quick and dogs love them!

I used to make tons of fleece blankets and I'd have strips from straigtening the blankets leftover. I couldn't bear to throw them away, so I'd make these rope toys and donate them to the animal shelter. When I got my boy last year, I had a few left over and I gave it to him as one of his first toys... those fleece ropes are his favorite!!! They last longer than actual rope, and I can toss them in the washer when they get dirty! Smiley
