Nellie is the first doll I've made out of velour. I'm hooked now! Smiley
She has a jointed arms, yarn hair and a little crochet belt. I'm still learning how to effectively stitch on hair. <3

Lovely - and I agree - soft and cuddly.  I particularly love her winsome little smile.

This doll is so perfect--very clean, soft and simple. I'll bet she makes somebody an awesome playmate. I especially love her clothes.

She's really cute.  I have yet to try the doll velour.  Is it easy to work with?

Thank guys! Smiley

I found it relatively easy to work with. It was easier to cut and sew than fleece. It's a bit slippery, but my machine (a brother xl-3750) sewed through it just fine. Smiley
