I shredded some paper to make my own and placed it in water according to some instructions I found online. Well..... It taken me some time to collect my other supplies ( primarily a cheap working blender that I can devote to the project) and now the watery paper has turned brown. My first thought is that this might lend a kinda cool antiqued look to the paper, but I am not sure if it can still be used. Thoughs?

It should still be fine...I've had paper turn brown on me before and I added some dye to it to change the color...it still looked dark, but it came out pretty neat!

oh good, I don't know how I would have gotten rid of it if it wasn't.
