Heeeey  Cheesy its been a while...

I've been playing around with lockets lately and so far its been a good time. The
only frustrating part is that its a twice baked process so there's a bit of waiting
around in between. The ribcage took a really long time but I didn't want to half
ass it for the sake of charging less. I made a heart that goes inside too but it
makes the piece a little too heavy. I'm still debating adding a heart for anything
more than pictures sake.

The brains were what started the whole thing. I saw the heart shaped locket
and all I could think was to slap some brains on that mother

...I just finished watching the movie savage grace and my minds still in wtf
mode. Its based on a true story about what led a son to murder his mother.
I don't want to spoil it but they slept together 0_o gore doesn't disturb me
but mommy effing does.  Huh

That movie sounds really disturbing, but at least some good came of you watching it. The heart-shaped brain locket is really rather cute and my boyfriend would LOVE that spine locket! Great work! x

I should mention that the movie didn't inspire any of this, I had these pieces made well before I saw it. I was just posting this while the credits were rolling so it was still on my mind. and requiem for a dream! that's one I'd like to see again soon

I can't believe other people have seen this movie. I had never even heard of it before the night I posted these. I like that I'm not the only one weirded out by it, haha

A picture of a heart is a really good idea flyangler

Thank You for all the words! I appreciate it and obviously really loved reading it all Cheesy  cheese and crackers, haha <3

They are awesome. I love the detail of both on both of them. You should make larger lockets, though, these need more size (more awesomeness).
