In the spirit of the up coming holiday I decided to crochet a hat for my baby in hopes that it would make a good 'prop' for a picture to give to my family. I started yesterday and made 4 half circles and went from their. Well it didn't turn out as well as I had planned.  Undecided
She looked so funny in the wonky thing I decided it would be great to share the laugh with the lovely people in the Craftster community.  Cheesy

After I took that picture I thought it would help if I put a little heart applique on it, but that was a bad plan too. Embarrassed

Shocked You see... I kinda sewed it onto the back of the hat. With her being fussy at the time, and my 3 yo dieing for attention ( he has what I so fondly call jealousitis) I forgot to look and make sure I was sewing it to the right side.

Yes this is the back of the hat.
Anyway I thought it was so funny looking and laughed so hard it brought tears to my eyes. So I hope you all enjoy the pictures, and a little C&C would be great too.

This hat is hilarious, and brings to mind craftylittlemonkey's failed fairy wand attempt last year!  Grin Grin

I love it!
You know, I had first assumed they were red mouse ears or something like that (all the kids here seem to wear animals on their heads).
Anywho, cute hat, cuter baby!

It may not look like a heart, but it turned out really cute. :-)

You are so right it does kinda look like the hats that they have on... interesting. I'll just make a green heart to sew on the correct side lol.

You really think so? I had my sis laughing so hard about it that she cried... We decided to print the pics anyway and I am gonna put them in her baby book...  Grin
