I'm making my boyfriend a 52 reasons book and I am soooo excited and inspired after seeing everyone's awesome examples here!  But I just have some questions/would appreciate other ideas that you would like to share, and I'm sure a bunch of other people are making these for V-day so hopefully this thread can help others too!

1.  If you've made one, what font size did you find to work best? Ditto for pictures
2. What kind of glue works best?

Anyway, the vision I have in my head is to use one of the joker cards to make a cover and embellish it with a bunch of nail art stuff that I have lying around.

What do you guys think?

I used different fonts with sizes 14-16. Pictures I tried to keep between 2.5-3 inches tall and 1.8-2.5 inches wide. To save paper, I typed up all my words on a couple pages, then all the pictures, which I adjusted the sizes of so  they'd fit. Then I cut everything out and glued it on.
As for the glue, I just used a regular Elmer's glue stick and computer paper. You don't want anything too heavy or sticky when working with computer paper. If you use cardstock or photo paper, I would recommend Photo glue.
Good luck!
If you want an example, you can look at the one I recently made: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=370171.0

I can't get my pictures to upload on my Mac Sad I used black and silver card stock to cover the cover the card and wrote on it with silver metallic and black sharpies. Then I just printed out images and glued it with an Elmers glue stick.   My Mister has thumbed through it for a year now and it is still in good shape.
It was great! I found AWESOME pictures like a bacon bra ( my Mister adores bacon).  I had fun making it.

I recently stumbled on the 52 Reasons books the people have been making for awhile for their loves for V-Day and I'd really like to make one for my boyfriend.  We are both short on money this year, but I want to make our first V-Day special.  I sat down tonight to start my reasons and I was surprised at how fast I am filling up the numbers to 52!

Anyway, my question is that I have seen people punching holes in the cards and then using "binder rings" to hold the "book" together.  Where did you find the binder rings?  I don't remember seeing them in stores...
