Wow I can't believe this thread has been revived, I just happened to notice today! I wish I could help with the instructions but I can't seem to find that particular Bust magazine, I know it's somewhere packed away. As for the zipper, honestly? It was a total fluke! I had never installed a zipper before I made this hoodie and the instructions were really vague so I just estimated where the zipper should go, cut the line, pinned the zipper and sewed! Sorry I couldn't help but if I come across the (vague) instructions I'll scan and upload.

WOW well done!
 this is really cool! I love the grey and the pattern. I think the flowery fabric gives a real nice contrast to the grey. I am not a fan of flowery but I think it works very well with this. Its unusual and it works! Cheesy
