For people who don't know me, I like to sew and create my own patterns of animals, fish, bugs, etc that aren't really noticed or known. My goal- to make animals and creatures more loved and huggable. Some examples are in my completed projects; an axolotl, african clawed frog and cicada which can be viewed in my other posts.

I am always looking for weird/ interesting things to create. I have had some suggestions already;

 Dark green axolotl
 Hummingbird Moth
 Honey Bee
 Fruit Fly
 Dust Mite
 Tadpole Shrimp
 Puffy sticky fishy
 Ocean slug
 Sea Butterfly

Creatures that aren't usually cute or well known. I see so much of dog, cat, bird, etc all those common types of animals that people love and look cute. Well... I think Axolotls are even cuter XD . I'm not looking for the usual; house pets (dog, cat, bird, bunny, cutesy fuzzy things)

I am trying to gain more experience with creating my own patterns and getting to know my machine better. So I am looking for anyone willing to share some ideas with me. Any creature that you would be interested in seeing plush-ified and perhaps made more snuggly and cuter.

Spiders.  I don't like them in real life, but, maybe you could make them huggable?  Wasps are very beautiful, even if they can sting the heck out of you.

Stonefish. They're the most venomous fish in the world, but also the most hilariously grumpy-looking. Tongue I can imagine them making a good (and poison-free!) plush.

If your looking for some unusual fish, the tv show River Monsters is a great place to get some idea's! There were all kinds of fish I had never heard of! The Alligator Gar, Arapaima, White Sturgeon and Goliath Tigerfish are some examples Cheesy
Other than that, what about a shark? Or a crocodile? Or a cuttlefish? I have no idea if this is helping....

Banana slug.
Fruit bat.

It is better to have crafted and failed then never to have crafted at all.
Yes, I am stalking the Toys and Playthings board. Thanks for noticing!
I'm cheating on Craftster with Pinterest. It's ok though. There's overlap.

How about some beetles? There are all sorts of really interesting shapes and colors of beetles.  Any sea creature from those discovery channel specials where they go deep deep undersea would be awesome as well!

Sloth would also be interesting, grasshopper.. OOh.. praying mantis!
