Actually the Dotee cozy was made on a knitting loom that I made myself...I was so excited because I've tried to crochet a million times and I just plain can't...once I learned how easy it was to use a knitting loom, I made two. But then I caved and bought the kit (oh man do I love 50% AC Moore coupons!!)

I'm so happy that you've already used the yarn! That hat looks awesome!!

I was wondering how you did the cozy!! I am definitely snagging the idea of attaching felt that I can embellish to crochet/knit/loomed pieces...I see so many applications for something like that!  ha ha I am going to put cozies on all my jars and storage pieces! Cheesy

kayrun--thanks for the pattern link! also for your tip on adding the seeds on the sides...you did a great job on that...it was ranked difficult! Cheesy  I have some perfect bamboo yarn that would show off those stitches!

It was funny, I felt like I had a cat for a few minutes.  She waited until my material was nicely laid out, then sat right in the center of where I needed to cut.  Unlike a cat, however, she kept following the scissors with her nose - even when she hopped off, I had to be careful not to snip any whiskers off when she poked her head in to help again.

Kayrun, you need to make that scarf for yourself, it's utterly amazing.  The yarn is so soft!

And I need to investigate this knitting loom...

Here is my cozy and fab package from Desade13. Grin

2 Harry Potter themed Mugs, Caramel Macchiato Candle, Vanilla and Chai Teas, and Mocha Java House Coffee Blend (which smells beyond yummy!)

A Crocheted Pair of Slippers

and Crocheted Scarf

THANK YOU DESADE! Kiss  I love my package! Grin

Sorry for the delay in picture posting (I am VERY sorry for the over exposure - had to use my iPhone to take the pictures).
Don't fret about it.  I can never get good cell phone pics.

...Here are a few pics of the crocheted pieces I sent Desade. (I am devastated to hear the hat is a bit snug; I modified the pattern to make it bigger. Tongue  Hopefully a quick soak will cure it.

Puff and Slouch Hat

which is based on Jessica Suzanne's free pattern, Pretty Puffs Slouchy Hat

and Matching Puff Mitts

The mitts are my own pattern which I really need to test and type up to share.

That hat is one of my favorites ever!  It looks great in that color!  Yes, you MUST do a pattern for the mitts so I can make matching sets! Cheesy

I wish I had made some of mine snugger!!  I find that after a few wearings, that style does loosen up a lot...I have had to frog and decrease the "band"...

Absolutely love those slippers...I definitely need to find a good pattern for the loafer style!

wonderful drinkable goodies as well...

Thank you for posting better pictures - it definitely does the lovely pieces more justice.

Love the puff hat with the matching hand warmers!  The charcoal color is great!

And I also love the hat alwaysinmyroom made with the funky yarn!

And the pajama bottoms are fab!

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

My package from aada arrived in the mail the other day!  There were all sorts of wonderful goodies inside. I would like to say that I got to keep them all, but my children hovered while I was opening the package and began to lay claim to the contents... even the 2 year old.  He even decided to get in on the 'photo shoot'

There was a travel mug (my daughter exclaimed: "I've always wanted one of those" and has been drinking out of it ever since) and cozy, a pretty pink knitted infinity scarf (I haven't had a chance to wear it since it's been in the 60's & 70's the past few days... and just a week ago we had 8" on the ground!), 2 types of Earl Grey (my favorite kind of tea), French Roast coffee, and Godiva Chocolate bar (my son really liked that part)!

Thank you so much for the wonderful package!  We all have enjoyed it!

Great packages all around! Love the slouchy hat, and it looks like the slippers deSade13 made would match her new hat! Hahahaha

All of this hot drink goodness is making me want another cup of coffee....  Tongue
