I whipped these up for a swap partner, making up the pattern as I went along.  I wrote it all down, so if there is interest, I'll type it up Smiley  they don't take up much any yarn at all


modeled by my 3 yr old:




I also made these a while back, out of the same yarn, and I still have a bit left.  It was just one ball of each:)
sorry it's sideways, I swear I turned it....


Pattern!
 I used an H hook, and bernat yarn, worsted weight.

Little mitties

-Ch4, make into ring
-Sc8 into center of ring made. Slip stitch into first sc
-2sc into first st., sc next 3,  2sc into next st, sc next3, sl into beginning of round
-2sc into first stitch, sc next 4,  2 sc in next st, sc next 4.  Sl into beginning of round
-2sc into to next 2 st (for a total of 4 new stitches) sc next 5, 2sc into next 2 st, sc next 5 sl into beginning of round
 -2sc into first 2 st, sc next 7 2 sc into next 2, sc next 7 st sl into beginning of round.
-sc each st around fr 7 rounds (I did not slip stitch while doing this part)
-Join colorb, sc around 2 rounds
-starting the thumb hole here:
-sc, chain 8, join back to body of mitt skipping 2 st, sc around to beginning of round,
-sc around including the chain
-scdec, sc next 4, sc dec, sc around
-scdec, sc next 2, sc dec, sc around
-sc dec, sc around
-sc dec, sc around
-sc around 1 row
-join color a and sc around 6 rows
join color b and sc 1 row.  Tie off.

Thumb:
Pick up 10 st on the opening with color B
Sc around
Sc dec, sc around (8st)
Change to color a
Sc around
Sc dec, sc around (6st)
Sc around,
Change to color B
Sc dec, sc, scdec, sc, scdec, tie off.


*Please let me know if there are issues with the pattern! I only made one pair, so there might be goofs!  probably not, but you never know!*
