I have finally gotten around to taking pics of the awesome things my wonderful swap angel, jennieingram, sent me. After a few uploading issues, here they are: Prepare to be green with envy!

I was amazed when I saw this painting, from my favorite episode "Vincent and The Doctor" and was blown away at the execution of it. Just great!

I took this to work and friends of mine who know about my Doctor Who addiction were amazed at this bag. I've carried it everywhere since I got it

Here's the rest of the collection: lots of bookmarks (I devour books and now I have a bookmark for all the books that I am currently reading), Jammie dodgers in tins, tea (in case i need to regenerate, which is often) and my own fez, because fezzes are cool. Thanks for the note, as well!

A close-up of the bookmarks featuring my favorite, sexy Doctor

jennieingram you have the best penmanship!

and finally, beautiful Tardis blue jewelry showing my <3 <3 for the Dr.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you jennieingram. Your angel package arrived at the end of one of the most horrible weeks I've had in a while and it really helped cheer me up!

Fantastic package. I can't work out which thing I love most. The bag is gorgeous but Vincent and the Doctor always has an incredible affect on me.

I'm so glad you liked your package KrazyKitty!

Since I got questions about them, I thought I should explain two things in my package:

#1.  I had just finished the package when I saw the trailer for the new season, and Matt Smith sitting in the Oval Office claiming to need a SWAT team, street level maps of Florida, a pot of coffee, 12 Jammie Dodgers and a fez.  So I decided that was clearly what KrazyKitty needed in preparation for the upcoming season.  Hence my including the fez, a packet of coffee to make a single pot, a street map of Florida printed from Google, a picture of a SWAT team dressed as Father Christmas, and of course the Jammie Dodgers.

#2. About the Jammie Dodgers in Tins:
The truth is I tried to find real Jammie Dodgers and couldn't.  You can get them on Amazon.com for $4 a package, but have to pay $7.50 shipping!  I found several recipes that claim to have them copied, but I wanted to get KrazyKitty her Angel package as soon as possible since she already got flaked on, and wanted them to be fresh.  So I went with Plan B.  I looked up what the packaging was like then I bought some cute yellow tins at the craft store. (I wanted a bigger tin that I could fit 12 cookies in, but the bigger ones were all dented, so I bought two small ones instead.)  Then I found the Jammie Dodger logo online and printed it onto label making paper, cut them out, and popped them on the tins.  Then I bought some Pepperidge Farm Montieri Cookies and put 6 cookies in each.

I know it was cheating but I just couldn't let the idea go of sending her that list of random items. For those of you looking for them, I hear that you can find them at some specialty shops that carry English foods, and like I said, I found them on Amazon but they were expensive.  I also found another brand at Walmart in with Hispanic cookies but they were strawberry filled instead of Raspberry, and they were a bit more dry and crumbly than the Montieri's.  The Montieri's were more shortbread like, and crisper.  I'm terribly sorry I can't remember the other cookie's name.  They came in chocolate or strawberry varieties and were in the cookie aisle.   Smiley
