Thank you all so much for your compliments.  And I do have plans to make the other three, because you can't have just ONE hobbit!  Grin  Today is likely to be crazy-talk busy but I will have the pattern up late tonight.

It should be pretty straightforward.  As far as attaching his limbs, I just sewed them directly onto his body but you could probably joint him like a poppet.  If you have any questions just ask me and I'll be more than happy to assist.

This is amazing! I may just have to try my hand at sewing one of these guys... Never made a doll of any kind before, but he's soo adorable! Great job! And, you're right... much better than the one you can buy! I second the motion on the Samwise doll as well Smiley
