I live in Brisbane, Australia and pretty much all Summer it has been cold and rainy. Then we had a flood. But the tides are receding and we finally have some hot, sunny weather again. Like 95 degrees (Fahrenheit) hot! I plan on enjoying what's left of Summer and making more dresses   Cheesy

Here is my latest. Let me know what you think  Smiley

The belt I bought on sale at Barkins.

Hey, I also live in Brisbane! I hope you and your loved ones weren't affected by the flooding!
Your dress is gorgeous! I adore the print and the shape of the dress. The belt is just perfect for this dress.

Thank you for the lovely comments. I was not affected by the floods directly. A girl at my work had water covering the roof of her home so we've started a collection for her. I hope all the Brisbane crafters are ok too.

The belt is just perfect for this dress.
Isn't it just! I've been wearing this belt with just about everything.

Thanks! I just got the fabric at Spotlight. It's a fairly heavy cotton so I didn't bother lining it either. Hopefully I won't come to regret that.

i've been craving a hawaiian print dress, and this just hits the spot.  i love the lines of it, esp the neckline. i'm hoping to find a nice large aloha shirt to recon myself in time for summer here

Expecting another two feet of snow in the next day or so where I am, this made me especially jealous! So summery and very nicely executed! The belt is just the perfect accessory, too.

Here's a couple of photos of me wearing it. The gentleman in the black suit is Eddie Nichols of Royal Crown Revue! ♥
