This was such a challenge, as I've never made a bag quite like that ever before. My machine really found it's limits! And that video! I'm honored to be the one who'se work was shown!
I really do love my backpack; The turquoise is perfect and it sure beats basic black from Wallmart!
I Posted the u-tube video on my facebook page. I'm off to see if there are any comments!
Thanks so much to Whats-Her_Name and Greenrmytears for putting together this wonderful swap! I'm glad I didn't pass it up!
Thanks, and God Bless You too, Jaloux!

I received yesterday! And let me tell you, my new bag is wonderful  Grin Onto the (blurryish) pics!

This is the bag. Don't you just love that fabric? It's a lot brighter in real life too, the next photo is a bit more accurate colour-wise. Funnily enough, both me and my partner chose very similar colour-schemes.

I thought the inside deserved a picture too  Wink

This is a handy pouch to keep things in. You may notice the bar of chocolate lurking in there  Cheesy

Here is a keyring (going straight on my keys in Germany), a bookmark, some rather awesome tissues (I get through a lot!) and the cutest plasters ever  Cheesy

Last but certainly not least, a ball of gorgeous wool  Cheesy I think I might try felting with it since it's supposed to felt well Cheesy I've always wanted to try.

I loved everything and pretty hate machine was a wonderful partner. I very much enjoyed my first swap and looking at all the photos in this gallery!  Grin
(Oops just realised I forgot to take an action shot to show you all the size. I'll try to do that and edit it in once I'm out of my pjs)

KLKing, what is the inside of that water bottle holder made from?

And what a great idea, putting a clip, an elastic, and a pin all on the back of the floral doodad!

That water bottle INSULATOR is made from Wet-Suit material. It is 1/4 inch thick, and is hard to feed thru the machine, because it's rubber.
I never worked with it before. I'm hoping it will keep the water cooler in the summer.
As for the flower doodad, it came that way. I picked those extras up at the fabric store like that. I thought it was pretty cool... (And I really wanted to keep it) LOL!!! ; but I can go get more! jaloux said she liked dark rich browns and greens. It seemed to fit the description.
The bag handle and beige pocket are also leather. This bag was a real first for me in many ways.
Thanks, everyone for all the interest!
I still have some fabric left. Maybe I'll get a small bag out of it?
