Spectrumsparksie just tipped me off and I found MORE spoiling! Inside the tissue paper that was stuffing the small matching bag I found not one, but TWO beautiful necklaces! Here is a dodgy picture of them. Will try to take another in better light and replace this photo. The glass pendant has a planet / space scene on it and the green circle has the cutest little key attached!

Hee hee!  I love that it was a secret stash you hadn't found yet.  I saw some steampunky jewellery on your wist (didn't I?hmmm my brain is mush) and thought you might like it.
The journal was inspired by the tile on your wist and and I am a big fan of mandarin moon on deviant art, so it is my version of her wonderful not to be matched work.  Glad you like it.

Great first parcel - well done, spectrumsparksie!!  Great design - so unique, and I love the elastics on the inside, and all the zipper compartments - functional!!  Also great job on the journal and the jewelry too!!

Yep, definitely unique.  When Nilmerg gave me a link to the sort of bag she wanted I had a mini-heart attack...it was way outside my usual style and ability.  But I tried my best to draft and create something along the lines of her request, and I think I was successful.  There were lots of mistakes (and broken machine needles along the way, and I nearly had to start all over again when I accidentally ironed the nylon zipper teeth: tip to others if you do that, quickly opening and closing the zip whilst the teeth were still "melty" seemed to reshape them and make the zipper still function.)

 The purse is great but I especially love that journal. Beautiful! Great job on the entire package. I can't believe you got it all done so quick.

Very cute and unusual bag...I like the elastics too. You would never know of the frustrations described...it looks AMAZING
