I have a Kenmore serger that is 5+ years old and my husband is ready to throw it out the window.  I can't thread it, and he gets extremely frustrated threading it for me (and he is a mechanical engineer).  Kenmore doesn't make sergers anymore, and he is begging me to buy a new one.  I realize sergers are a pain in general to thread, but does anyone have any recommendations for a new one?   I'm a good sewer (sewist? lol) but I haven't done anything fancy on it.  I do like it for fleece & knits though.  And not that price is no obstacle, but I would like one that doesn't leave us tearing our hair out.  And if it's simple enough for me to thread it, all the better.

I am collecting cotton Hawaiian fabric scraps for a quilt if you wanted to send any my way!
