Envelopes from Maps

I've wanted envelopes made of maps forever, and I've had an old map book kicking around (with some delightfully out-of-date locations in it). So finally, I got down to business and made some card-sized envelopes for myself!


I made my own template for the envelopes by looking at templates online, and checking out the sizes of the cards I have that needed envelopes. I also added a white strip for the address.  Shot of the back:

these look great! i've been lazy bones about posting the gifts i made for the holidays... i made a set of cards for my brother from an old atlas this year. what is it about a map envelope that is SOOOOO pleasing? you did a fab job!
