After being introduce to "mug rugs" and signing up for the Mug Rug Swap, I decided to try one out while waiting for partners.  I attacked my scrap bin with inspiration from
http://www.pleasant-home.com/2010/11/sew-picture-perfect-mug-rugs.html

and came up with this:

the only batting that I had was super thick and I had to quilt it a lot more that I had planned on.... next time I will use a low loft instead

Thanks for looking....

It turned out so bright and cheery, OGD! I love it. Great fabric choices and the design is fab. Good tip on the low loft batting too.

The cookies look yummy!!
