In apartments the question is, to decorate, or not to decorate.  Can I stand the boring white walls?  Or will painting and hanging be worth the work of taking it all down in a year or two.  For my daughters bedroom I wanted to make something awesome!  But also something mobile that we can take to the next  apartment or <fingers crossed> house.

This Castle was made from a HD TV box.  Every bit of it, from the rampart to the flower box.  I got to give my hubby props for coming up with the idea.

Finished! complete with circling Dragon.

Some Details

The hubby brought home a new giant box last week, oh dear.  So perhaps we will add a Keep soon.

That is so cool! I love all the details and the drawbridge is great.

BTW, I don't know if you know, but if you put the completed photo first, it will show up as the thumbnail picture that people see when they decide whether to click on a project.

Wow! I would have absolutely adored something like this as a kid! Perfect example of crafting on a budget and recycling materials. The drawbridge looks super fun and I love the Doors of Durin painting! <3
