doll's raincoat

hi, i'm new to this site and sewing in general, i'm more of a kitchen person but i want a Coraline doll and i decided to make one myself. i already got the doll pattern, i'm using  Peaches Ballerina Angel About 18" Tall  by © Judi K. Ward. the body is just what i'm looking for. I do however need help with her raincoat, i'm lost when it comes to the pattern for it. PLEAS HELP ME!!! any basic raincoat pattern with a hood will do. i also need help with the booths.

if this doll  turns out ok i'm thinking of making 2 more for my little cousins they are age 5 and 6.

Making a doll raincoat would be similar to making a person sized raincoat, you'd use the same basic pattern just smaller.

Something like this:



Just enlarge it to fit.

How big is the head? Is she proportioned like a Pullip or a Barbie? If she has a big head then you might need to check out (and resize) Pullip/Blythe/Obitsu patterns
