Well, I finally got round to learn solomons knot. It was a whole lot easier than I thought, allthough those tutorial pictures seamed to always overwhelm me. Anyway the knot was easy, but understanding, how the surface builds up was another thing.  Tongue

Finding pattern was also bit troublesome, since I didn't want to make a scarf (I think the solomons knot is mostly used to scarfs and shawls  Undecided). Finally I found this http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=161436.0 .... But no pattern! So I decided to try to wing it. Before I started, I had already decided, I'd make a short sleeved version.

And this is what happenned:

When I pieced all the segments together I realised that the whole thing was so large (Not too large to wear), that ribbing wouldn't look good at all. So I'm keeping this one as it is, and maybe try to develop the pattern a bit further and make another one.  Cheesy I'd love to also loose some seams from the pattern, because I really don't like how the seams look after piecing.

What I still need to learn, is if there is a good way to make increases to the solomons knot pattern.

Thanks for looking  Smiley

This bolero is adorable.  I really like the stitch. I have tried making a tank top but never finished it.  I will have to make myself some clothing this year.  God bless my efforts.

Lovely pattern!
Do you think you will write out the pattern?

Did you find a good way to Increase and Decrease while using the Solomon's knot?

Really do love this bolero?
