Oooh, great knitted goodies from Shablina!
The felt food, especially the fish, is adorable.
I love the owl pillow, but the shoulderpad needlebook is hilariously awesome!

*cough* I need to go bug Edel to post pics.*cough*

Kiss Kiss Grin Grin  At the last moment, the talented Distant_Twilight chose me to send a package to for this swap!  I was very pleased to be chosen and even more pleased now that I've received my package!  Wink  Unfortunately, I am unable to take and post photos, but I have PMed Distant_Twilight to let her know I received, so hopefully she will post photos of the wonderfulness that is the swap package she sent me!

Onto the descriptions:

*As soon as I opened up the box, a large green plastic bag FILLED with TONS of paper cranes!  Made out of papers in all different subtle colors that look almost batik-ed or tye-died.  I have plans for these!  Grin

*A "pom-pom palace" (plain black shoebox, so that my students can decorate it) filled with pom-poms in every color of the rainbow!  I asked for these to teach my preschoolers colors, and she delivered!  AND, she put googly eyes on the pom-poms-an act of genius, if you ask me!  (She even put dividers in the box so that the pom-poms each have their own spot.

*A bow-tie necklace in green and blue on a silver chain-PERFECT!  (And funny as heck, b/c my son has been looking to buy a bow-tie for weeks now-I have no idea why he would want one-and I teased him that now I have one first!  Cheesy)

*A sparkly, beaded, silver bracelet that made me literally gasp when I opened it, that's how beautiful it is!  It's a three strand bracelet, with some of the beads wirewrapped, and the beads attached between the chains.  Beautiful!

Thank you so much again, Distant_Twilight!

I never get tired of felt food! Maybe I should swap for some (my DD likes NOTHING that I've made her, but likes EVERYTHING swap partners make).

Look at all that yarnie goodness! Yum! Love the colors.

Miss B, your package sounds amazing. I hope your partner post pics soon - I'm really curious as to see the pom-pom castle...

I received from ghanne! What an awesome package:

The beautiful card she sent, lots of storage containers (I asked for them for craft supplies & general organizing), and... hmmm... I'm embarrassed to admit I'm not sure. Satchets, I think? They smell awesome!

Gorgeous postcards and tags, plus a calendar:

Big bad wolf & 3 little pigs puppets for my kids:

And (this is AWESOME), a puppet set based on The Hungry Little Caterpillar, one of our favorite books.

My husband reading the book to the kids with the puppet. It's so cool... he eats through all of the food, then goes in his cocoon (the orange thing on DH's arm)...

And emerges a beautiful butterfly:

It's so clever the way ghanne did this. You tuck the wings in the cocoon and then he comes out wearing them. As you can see from the picture the kids LOVED it.

Thanks so much ghanne!! Awesome package!!

LOVe the puppet set! That's STILL one of our favorite books; it would be great to give the book plus the puppet set as a birthday present!

oh em gee I am TOTALLY wisting the hungry caterpillar puppet set! Your kids look like they are having a blast!

And, I just may try to do the 3 pigs and BBW myself - and maybe a red riding hood and grandma too? Okay, you've inspired me!
