I think someone should put together a swap like this.

http://1000journals.com/index.php?view=Journals%2FIndex

Ours would be less in depth and we wouldnt fill just one journal.

Like each person would buy a journal fill a page and then pass it on.. or even if they have a journal started.. ect. Then whenever someone receives a journal they will fill a page and pass it on to the next person, and until the journal comes to first person again. I think it would be a awesome idea. This would have to be something that would go on for a few months. Smiley

I wouldn't want to organize it though! I would LOVE to do something like this though!!

I did a swap like this a few years ago. It was so much fun! Sadly my final partner flaked and I never got my book back. In that regard I think just sending pages is a book idea.

I do however I prefer to work in a prebound book. And plus I sent a small novel as my journal to alter. I love seeing journaling on top of text  Cheesy

I love this idea.  I would participate.

I think sending pages is smart, that guarantees you will not lose the journal.

There is a movie called 1000journals about that project.  It's very interesting. Smiley

I was also in a swap like this and never received my book back. It was a truly awesome idea and I had so much fun working on the pages that I did for other people as everyone's journal had a specific theme to follow.

Individual pages are the way to go for this kind of swap, that way if one person falls out people don't end up not getting their journals back.

This sounds amazing! While I agree that sending out actual journals would probably be prettier, I think it's probably a lot safer to just send pages because there is that factor that someone might flake and then you get stuck with nothing. Besides having to make a cover for it and bind it makes it that much more crafty. I'd love to join this if anyone starts it. It's just the kind of swap I've been waiting for.

This sounds awesome! I would prefer sending the whole journal though because I don't know how to do binding or anything like that...

I guess there could be 2 groups - those sending a whole journal, those just sending pages? That way everybody could join in the fun! Smiley

You can glue individual pages to the pages of a journal, to notebook dividers in a three ring binder, or slide them into page protectors....

Here are a couple of sites for information:
