Wavy Daisy Love Quilt

I made this quilt for the newborn daughter of good friends.  The patchwork is actually one print that is quilted around to make it look like blocks.  The circles were interfaced and then appliqued onto the green strip.  This was a fairly simple piece, overall, but I LOVE it.



This gives you an idea of the overall size--- on a full size bed.



A close-up of the fabrics and quilting.  I used a fuschia pink and off-white thread for quilting.  Meander quilting on the green panel, a spiral on the circles, around the patchwork, in stripes on the plaid border, and meander and around the flowers on the purple border.



Cosi, Nina's three year old sister, immediately dragged the quilt into her room.  So cute!
