I wanted to make I Spy quilts for each of my kids for Christmas.  Well I was a little late but I finally got them done.  Here is the first one that I made.  I have never done anything like this before so the edges are probably not done correctly but I still like the way it turned out.

I am going to give it to my son for his birthday next week.

I'm in awe of all the cute fabric you found for that quilt!  That's fantastic!  Smiley

I'm not gonna lie, I totally purchased most of the squares from etsy!  My fabric stash is nowhere near large enough to have made that many squares.  Especially since no two squares are the same!

I bet your kids love it!

I was just working on my I-Spy quilt last night for my youngest. I'm doing a disappearing ninepatch and I've got all the squares done I just need to finish sewing them into strips.

I actually made two of them!  The photo of the second blanket didn't come out so well so I didn't post it.  Two blankets in three days.  Now I want more squares so I can make a smaller one for a friend who is having a baby next month.

Super cute, all those boyish blocks make me want a boy!!! I intended on making an I-Spy quilt for my daughters for Christmas but failed miserably- only accomplishing a doll sized i-spy hahaha!
