Last week I heard about the 4 week Doodle Stitch along from Aimee Ray's new book. I'm pretty excited to do this. They are posting a new pattern each week and also are hosting giveaways. I'm planning on sewing up last week's cute gnome tonight. I'm thinking of using him in a mug rug for my grandpa.

Anyways I wanted to see if any craftsters wanted to join the fun too!

Here are the details from lark crafts:

Are you doing this?  I got the book but haven't done anything yet.  I have a pretty small collection of thread but am hoping to head to the store to get a package today. If you made some let me know!

I checked out the book from the library and love it. (sadly my cd rom drive is out of commision for the time being!)
So far I've stitched the first week's gnome but haven't started on the 2nd week or 3rd week ones. I'm thinking of making little mug rugs for my grandparents with these.

There's a few patterns on that sampler and the circus elephant is pretty cute too!  I just got some thread finally!  AND - we are partners!  How cool is that??  Smiley

This looks like it could be really fun!  Thinking about buying the book since Amazon has it for almost half price!
