I know apples and bananas brown when exposed to air, and that lemon juice can help, but what about radishes, cucumbers, carrots, green onions, broccoli, cauliflow#r, pineapples, melons, strawberries, grapes, tomatoes? Im making edible arrangement style bouquets for my wedding and id like to cut  Embarrassedas many of the fruits and vegetables as possible the day before.

I know carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, grapes, and tomatoes don't turn brown.  Pineapples turn brown.  Soft things like berries, tomatoes, and green onions might get wilty/squishy if left out.

I think the safest way to make sure if to buy a small amount of everything, cut them, and just leave them for a day or two.

Lol, I was trying to avoid doing that, but I think if I just left bits out as i used them during my normal cooking it wouldnt be sobad. thanks Wink

Haha, I thought so- just thought I'd say it in case we both missed the obvious Smiley  But I just had another idea- what about going to a salad bar and just buying like one bit of each thing?  Then you don't have to eat 100 servings of fruits and vegetables for the next few weeks Smiley
