I saw a project on this site where someone did a paper cut and used various colors of magazines behind the cut to give it interest.  I really liked the technique and decided to use it to make a Christmas gift for a friend.  She is often heard saying:  "love, love, love..." so I recreated it using the Kanji symbol for love, a heart, and a scrapbooking embellishment with brads.

Here is the finished product.  There is a weird shadow on the glass and not an imperfection in the piece.

Thanks for looking.
