SS.  Beautiful!  I wasn't brave enough to go for those gorgeous bright colors.  I love yours.  And I can't imagine ever finishing if I was trying to hand quilt. You did a fantastic job.

Thank you so much.  It's just that I kind of suck at machine quilting!   Embarrassed

waggonswest and SimplySandy - each is beautiful.  Your quilts are such works of art.  Both remarkable quilts.

Oh I have a thing for anything circular. Lovely quilt.

Edited to add, how long did it take to do the acttual top stitching?

Quilting the circles didn't take too long once I got the hang of it.  It was certainly faster to do with the preset on my machine than if I was trying to free motion (neat) circles or drive the walking foot around in circles.  It probably only took a few hours but it was spread out over several days.  Of course it would have been faster had I not had the spool of thread from someplace unmentionable!  The breakage was unbelievable.  Silly me, I refused to change to something else because I wanted to use as much up as possible since I am NEVER going to use it ever again.  Now I can't give it away because that would be mean and I can't throw it away because that would be wasteful.

Wow! Sounds like a lot of work...but well worth the effort. The finished quilt is a beauty!
