I made a tie-dyed mandala today! I found this and just had to try it out!
It was supposed to be rainbow, but I got lazy and tried to mix the colors I had on hand (red, blue, yellow) instead of going downstairs to grab the other colors I needed. I'm still pleased with how it turned out.  I don't know what to do with it yet. It measures about 18x18.

What do you think?

WOW! really really pretty! I'm wisting! I watched the video and can't help but think the fabric, after it's been folded and banded, looks like both a chicken leg and a person tied up! lol

Yay! I'm so glad you like it!  It does look a little tortured when it's all wrapped up, ha ha! My daughter kept calling it a unicorn horn.
I need to work on making my folds crisper to get the points on the stars. It was suggested to me to make a quilt from these, and since I am now obsessed with that idea, I will be making many more of these so I will have lots of practice! Cheesy
