I did an altered puzzle for part of my Sketchbook Project submission.  My theme is Trading Forever and I showed different ways we all trade things.  The altered puzzle shows "Together and Apart."  I struggled with the imagery until the idea of an altered puzzle grabbed me.  It perfectly shows how pieces stand alone and come together.

my first 3 out of 24 pieces.
i tried following the themes, my brain said "Restrictions!? Never!!!" and instead of anything slightly resembling monotone or calm, i produced three of the loudest, silliest and most colourful pieces i've ever done.
i owe much to monty python's terry gilliam.

of course they need tidying and sealing, but i figure the finishing touches can be touched up at the finish  Grin

Mun - I love all your pieces and the way the page works.

Ossidrizz - Love the yellow one especially.

I must get mine out and sorted out so that I know where I am with it!

I love the little hand flowers!!

I've been wanting to do a Tim Burton inspired altered puzzle for a long time now, maybe I will join up and get started on it.  Smiley

The hand flowers are great!

Thanks for starting up this thread!  Last year ended pretty crazy and I'm starting to get back into things and this thread reminds me that there are still a lot of fun things on my to-do list.
