Yay!  I can't wait to see it!  Have fun weaving in the ends -- I have to have really good TV on to get that chore done.

The shawl sounds beautiful, and what a generous gift.  I'm sure it was beautiful and much appreciated.

I've been side tracked by summer knits, multiple gardens and house repairs, but the tote bag with the pillow tops is sitting in the corner of the bedroom, yarn spilling out in mute reproach.  I keep telling myself I'll get back to work once the craft room is organized and I can excavate my sewing machine for the pillow shells....

So Very Pretty, KLK!! What a stunning afghan you've made.  I like the outline color you used.  It adds nice contrast to the other colors, I think.   =]

 
Still plugging away on my sampler squares...slowly...
and the class on embellishments that I wanted to take is full!  So no such luck this time!

Ooh, that's really stunning!  I love the colors; very sophisticated!  And the edging around each square makes it look really nice -- wish I had the patience for that!

You did a fabulous job -- are you keeping it for yourself, or gifting it?

What a great idea - your work is lovely.  I've also wanted to try to knit a crazy quilt.  I found a website once by googling "knitting a crazy quilt"  .  The Gees Bend work is also cool inspiration.  I could't get the exhibit book, but picked up the postcard book and it gives neat ideas about using different colors, etc (even though they are cloth, not knitted, quilts.)  I can't believe you made that huge bedspread. That is truly amazing!
