I know it's been FOREVER since I've posted anything new.  This past year has been crazy.  Last May I was super sick and ended up in the ICU for 4 days getting boatloads of tests done. I ultimately was diagnosed with Crohn's disease and now have a wonderful GI and medicine that's been working out really well.  It took a few months to start beading again.  By then, I had decided to change my focus and combine my loves for french beading and jewelry using some new techniques I developed.  Here are some of the results!  I would LOVE to get everyone's critical feedback, as I hope to be selling these in the near future.

Thanks for looking!

Plumeria:  Made with 15/0 seed beads, shell beads, glass leaf, various crystals

Peacock:  Made with 15/0 seed beads, real and glass pearls, various crystals, czech glass

Cherry Blossom: 15/0 seed beads, czech glass, crystals, peridot chips, silver spacers

I'm glad you are feeling better now.  I love these pieces.  You have a great sense of style.  Your work is classic yet unique at the same time.  I'm glad you are back and look forward to seeing more of your work.

The cherry blossoms are amazing! The piece seems so light, ethereal, and summery, I want it just as an art piece! I love them all, but that one is my favorite.

Thank you both!

thelastkodama, I love that you call it an "art piece."  That's really my goal- to create beautiful, wearable art!  Smiley

Wow... gorgeous work. Some of it I could see as bridal jewelery.

I've never seen necklaces like these. They're so pretty. The peacock one is so chic. I'd love to see it with a simple black dress and peacock type handbag.

I don't often use the word 'lovely', but that's what those necklaces are!

lvl0rg4n,  I actually did wear the peacock necklace with a simple black dress to an event at the bead store I teach at.  It got a lot of attention- maybe too much?  I got my hair cut earlier in the day (not dramatically, but usually people notice), and a friend at the event didn't realize until she saw me again a few days later! It was kind of amusing, actually... Tongue

These are so beautiful - really unusual. The flowers just set the jewellery off perfectly - my favourite is the blossom though I love them all. Very cool
