Toon.  lol I used to be a WoW head, hubby is/was too.  I love everything about WoW other then the time it takes to get anywhere in the game LOL   But the character design, the colors, the areas, they are all so awesome.

I liked WoW better then EQ2....except all the uppity ups who like to wack the noobs.  I have found a free to play called Allods over at gpotatoes, that is a really preaty game to play.  They are getting a huge patch in the next couple of days, so the 26th would be a great time to check it out.  There are all kinds of bonus things that will be given out for a week or two.  The have this supper cute race called "Gibberlings", that are 3 ...ferret, hamster cross kind of things.  It also has a steam punk look to some of the toons.

I am almost finished my frugal package.....

I made the stone, sword and shield today from salt dough, and I sewed out the wings and glued them onto the ken doll.

now I have to wait till they dry to finish it off.

I am finished with not one but two (fake) swaps!

first my found object windchime/mobile swap:

I made it out of a CD, bits from an old kitchen faucet, an old belt buckle,  a diary key, some awesome chandelier crystals i've been hoarding for over 20 years, an old watch, a whole bunch of sterling silver wire and random beads leftover from other projects.  It's delicate, so my partners putting it in her sunroom so strong winds won't break the crystals. But it makes the most fabulous tinkling sounds ever and glints in the afternoon sunlight!

Second my small steampunk swap:

Ok uh we went a little overboard here.  It was supposed to be a three point swap but i think it turned into a 5 pointer.
First up are the steampunk area pictures printed on dictionary pages and framed with antique lace.

Then there is the madam of the sewing room.  A swimsuit form covered in pattern paper and then dressed in a velvet corset, leather waist cincer, and silk skirt. added bits and bobbles to the cincher. topped off with a velvet and lace choker.

All of this is now hanging in her craft room above her desk. 

And then as a extra I got a "fancy" ala the gibbous shop.  This a patchwork of fabric scraps scrunched and sewn onto a velvet backing. Added a glorious amount of embellishments and it can secure in her hair with two clips.  It turned out more victorian gibbous than steampunk, but it's wonderful! she tells me she wears it everywhere!

my partner has been really good and let me send a week or so late due to the wet weather we have all of a sudden gotten and the fact that some of my items are taking forever to dry.....perhaps I will cranky up the dehydrator.....mayb e not either as I am trying to avoid electricity usage, although I seem to be the only 1 bothering.

How much nicer is the house when you use candles instead of the light.....
