I think may be a few days late with my Crafty Detective swap. I'm supposed to send out today, but I've thought of something I want to add to the package. Oh well. It's not like they know they're getting a package so they won't be disappointed.

Tragedy has struck one of my pieces....the sword I made from salt dough just snapped.....master 14 to the rescue I gave him a scrap of timber and said design a sword......so he is.
we will cut it out and sand and shape it and then glue it in place later.....

I fake participated in in the frugal swap. Hitting right next to the deadline-I finished up my items.  First up: wetbags-1 for swimsuits after watertime at the pool,2 wetbags for my mama cloth.  I also made some nighttime mama cloth which I have been putting on my to do list for a long time.  In addition I made velcro reusable snack bags (8 of them).

What a great frugal package!  I've been wanting to make snack bags lately, but haven't found the time.

I made definite progress on the Reading Swap yesterday, and partial progress on the Amigurumi Swap (all 3 amis now have faces... now 2 of them just need legs and hair), because I downsized what I was originally making (although the amis are actually upsized... you'll see what I mean when I post them). I'm hoping to finish the legs on at least one today.

I would have made more progress on the Reading Swap yesterday, but I forgot a crucial supply item, so I couldn't even begin the big item I'm making. I'm going to go and locate that supply item right now, and then I may have to do some gluing. And, while it's drying, I can finish up the last item (which is quick, but requires a somewhat fussy initial step).

Off I go!
