Fake Swapping Craft-along (ongoing)

Anyone still lurking around here? I was considering the Secret Santa Swap - http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=414922.0 -  but kept hesitating for some reason (maybe because I can make pretty much everything on my wishlist, and have actually been meaning to make a lot of those things, but just haven't), and now it has closed. . .

So I'm considering doing a Fake Swapping version of it alongside the real version.  BUT, it's a Secret Santa swap. Obviously, mine wouldn't be a secret, but the set-up means there is an "opening party" on December 8-9. It'd be fun to do the wrapping and opening part anyway, but not so much fun alone. Anyone else want to fake swap this with me?

I'm always around....so we would make somethings for our partners(self) and wrap it to be unwrapped on the 8th or 9th?  Sounds good to me!

Oh, I know. I've failed at my fake swapping. Or, really, making things for myself at all. Going as a "team" will be good motivation!

I think the only way I will get my own holiday crafting done is to join a fake swap!

And for the small purchased item:
- vintage Christmas ornaments
- reusable bags from neat local businesses
- local foodie specialties (jams? chocolate?)
