I thought the flowers were stickers, too!  You did an awesome job and KUDOS to your awesome find and bargain!   Just a question though and it may just be the picture lighting or something, but are the bowl and attachments and stuff all in good condition?  The bowl looks a little dark and I was just wondering.

This is amazing, and I can't believe you found a kitchenaid for $5!  I got mine for $120 and thought I found a super hot deal Wink

Aah I have wanted to do this since I scored a KitchenAid Mixer for $86 on Christmas Eve (here I am thinking that's an awesome deal and then I see you score one for $5 haha)

I would love to hear how it's holding up and if the paint is chipping off, what sealant did you use?

I have never ever seen a cooler mixer ever!
I'm uber impressed that you spent all that time to do it right, and now it will look fantastic for another 60 years!

Holy Moly!

I have a Cuisinart 1000 WATT mother-of-a-mixer.  I definitely did NOT score a deal on it and I think my boyfriend would DIE if I wanted to paint the $800 monstrosity!

Secretly, in my mind, I cannot wait for it to be old enough so I can paint it! Haha.
