I  am so terribly thrilled to have a partner so worthy of a terribly important craft!  Cackle - I can not wait to have margie's ex secretary with the awesome abs fetch my sparkley important thinking cap so that I may commence brain storming!

Imagine my dignified delight this morning when Fabio brought me my tea, laptop and tiara  (one must be prepared to receive sycophants at any time of the day) at finding my illustrious partner thisbirdsabsurd had actually had her man fetch the SPARKLEY important thinking cap. Of course, I am worthy of it, but the Sheer Effort of the thing......really, I am deeply touched. (dab embroidered hanky at corner of eye)
One can only hope to Rise To The Occasion. One shall, of course.

After reading through this thread we find ourselves pontificating in the third person to various minions around the palace (or dogs, cats and kids around the house if you must know).  There are many a blank stare and much rolling of the eyes....we believe we will make an Important and Urgent Proclamation that this behaviour is most unbecoming to a Person of Most Important Stature such as ourself.....

I was pleased to discover that my partner and I are both members of the Terribly Important Texans Society. It's a lovely organization but it doesn't lend itself well to acronym.

I have reduced my staff, and no longer have the publicist, extra maids, cook, chauffeur,  handsome pool boy (didn't have a pool anyway!),  etc.  I just cannot deal with all these beings in a 2 bedroom apartment with clutter issues already.  So, it's just me again and the fuzzy munchkins (Sassy, Mikey, and Izzy).  It feels right.  This is the year to destash anyway.  (oh wait, I didn't sign up for that swap).  But  I did manage to finish fixing my computer issues, and Heaven only knows what I eliminated by not knowing what I was doing, but I got my Options bar or whatever its called back.  So now I can focus on my terribly important Wonderful partner and get busy crafting!  And have some fun!

Oh hooray margie - I love it when you down size - that's how I got my secretary with the awesome abs.  I'll definitely be calling on the maids and the cook, but what on earth were you doing with that poor pool boy with no pool? (Dare I ask?)   Well whatever it was, if he was good at it I doubt you'd be letting him go. 
  Ah well, I must be going, apparently it is time for my 10 am massage and manicure - helps me think of more brilliant ideas for my terribly important partner.

Dear Important Swappers,

It seems that my terrible importance is needed elsewhere this weekend. No problems would dare arise for such a fine group as yourselves, so I don't think it will be necessary to put my manservant on duty to keep a constant watch over this swap thread. Everything will be fine, I am certain. Those in the highest of places have assured me of it. Besides, I am well aware that you all have your own people/tools/battlements in place in case of emergencies and unforeseen swapping misadventures.

I hear that the jet is almost fueled and that my luggage has been loaded. Please pray for me, that my in-flight meal will be mightily improved over the last trip. I had to sack the last bunch after they attempted to serve me a jaunty Beaujolais in a Riedel Riesling glass! Pfft! The cheek of it!
