Today I have stalked, googled, planned and e-bayed.  Design planned and fabric purchased.  Now the waiting for the goodies to arrive and be transformed!

My craft room is a DISASTER right now from the mess I made working on the Inchie swap. I'm going to spend the day getting it reorganized so I can mess it up again making mug rugs .

It needs some re-binding.  I don't understand store-bought bias but since I was trying to finish it quickly I thought I'd give it a try.  It's also too long - I meant to not go all the way to the end but I forgot to not.  I have been really wanting to do a ticker tape quilt but have, of course, a long list of other projects.  I'm not sure "ticker tape" is the right look for a mug rug though - I think you need a bit of a bigger piece to get the full effect.  But it was fun to do!

sooooo after my boyfriend picked me up after my 11 mile walk yesterday he surprised me by buying me a sewing machine, i was going to do them all my hand but really really excited now as wanted one for ages lol.

Got my ideas already sorted, got the sketches done, just need to buy some fabric and some extra for me as the stuff im buying is wovely lol, then im all set. Going to have a go with the sewing machine tonight to get used to it lol

I've got patterns and fabrics picked out, and they're lying all across my livingroom floor, taunting me with their presence as I sit on a chair, watching the cat. He's forced to wear a cone while his operation wound heals, so now he's having a break away from the cone, sleeping in my boyfriend's computer chair... if I turn it so I can see him while crafting, it'll be too bright and he'll start wandering around the apartment, trying to get at his wound, and if I don't watch him, he'll also immediately try to get at his wound. Our only moment of peace means I can't do any crafting. Oh well. At least I know what I'm going to do once I can pounce on my heap of fabric again
