About a month ago I was sick to the point of wanting to curl up in a ball in my bed and drown in my sea of blankets.  Sad Instead of drowning in my bed, I helped my mom go through her storage unit and transfer her stuff from one unit to another, all the while I was miserably sick. Among one of the many boxes I found a huge container of FLOPPY DISKS!  Cheesy My mom wanted to throw them away but I saw a creative potential in them and kept them.
So then, I was stuck with a ton of floppys and no idea what to do with them. All google was telling me was use it as a coaster, or a magnet or put five of them together and make a pencil box. Sad Boring, to me at least.

So here's what I ended up making tonight.

1.

I used the center of two floppy disks and parts of an old pair of ugly ear rings.

2.

These are the top corners of a floppy disk. I had to add a hole to each one. I haven't added the actual ear ring part but this is the little charms for the ear rings. I don't have the parts to complete it.

I am absolutely in love with the first pair! I can't wait to wear them to school and show them off.  Grin

Update on the second pair:

I added the actual ear ring part. I found another pair of ugly ear rings and tore them apart.

Comment me telling me what you think? Please and thank you. Smiley

Reminds me of the stuff on fractalspin.com maybe it'll give you some ideas for other stuff. =]
All their stuff is handmade and AWESOME, too. I bought an IDE belt and a terminal bracelet from them.

I've never heard of fractalspin.com I think I'll have to check them out. I have a bunch of stuff that's cool but has no use at the moment that I would love to craft into something. Thank you for the comment. Smiley
