I'm sorry it took me such a long time to share it, but jillybeans sent me a fabulous mixed-media ATC as part of a personal swap, with a very fancy fox.  Grin

She also sent a handmade Halloween card, and a bunch of bonus paper in the envelope.

Thank you!!!

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Graduated from library school! That sums things up for now.

While waiting for the Jar of Hearts swap to start, jo_mama and I decided to exchange our own hearts.  I received from her today, and I love what she sent!  These painted stones are my favorites!

Here are 5 more for my jar of hearts. Look--there is a mini jar full of felt hearts!  That is so cute!

A wax heart (melted crayons?) and a heart treat for the birds:

AND a bonus of 4 pretty fat quarters!  I'm a fabric hoarder, and I don't have any of these!  Yay!

Thanks, Jo, I love everything, and this was a great personal swap!

Leslie - what a great personal swap package from your partner - I love those painted stone hearts, and the others - I just thought of that miniature jar of hearts yesterday, Saturday!!  I have some little jar charms like that but had not thought of what kind of hearts to put in it - felt is perfect.  So sweet!   Kiss

I also like that seed/suet? heart for the birds - such a great idea.   Cheesy

I made a private Mini 13 days of Halloween swap with monkygirl.
Here are the fabulous items I received:
Day 1:
This is Mr. Skully. He took me trough the 13 days

Day 2:
Keycaps and key rings to help me not loosing my keys- I personally think that they look more like werewolves than vampires but that is maybe only because I favour werewolves over vampires and that has nothing to do with twilight.

Day 3:
A bookbag and a creepy cute crochet book. I already made the monkey from the cover but it refuses to stand and keeps falling on its nose...stupid thing

Day 4:
DIY baking day. handmade cupcake picks with bats on it and ghost and bats sprinkles. I plan on using those for Christmas cookies  Cheesy

Day 5:
decoration for my house: A halloween bunting

Day 6:
a homage to all the 90 alien movies- an alien pin cushion. I now own enough pin cushions to start a collection. Yeah!

Day 7:
zombie finger puppets (I've been wanting them forever) to play my own zombie movies cause it seems that sometimes there aren't any good ones to watch.
They glow in the dark!

Day 8:
a little blushing ghost brooch

Day 9:
crossstiched magnets to make my kitchen a little creepier. Unfortunately the magnets are not very strong and I will add stronger ones soon so that they can adorn my kitchen.

Day 10:
a day of the dead hairband. There were little skull beads in the middle of each flower but they all fell of in transport and I haventhad time to glue them back..Sorry for the messy hair

Day 11:
items are MIA. Sorry!! Some crossstiched brooches and a zipper pull

Day 12:
four bows made from Halloween fabric. Two of them are necklaces. I am not really into bows but am going to decorate my halloween skulls next year

Day 13:
lots of decoration stuff
A haunted house that I assume is some kind of tray

garlands, freaky fabric and a skull patches (I collect those)

heart-y cards complete with envelopes

and tons of marshmellows (yum) already halfway eaten. Those coffins are also filled with marshmellows!

As you can see in the pics she included little orange cards  and wrote the numbers of the days on the envelopes in English and in  Maori. Very interesting kiwi girl ;-)

Thank you very much monkeygirl and I am so looking forward to next year!!

I met Miss Barbara in our last Ongoing Holiday Swap. Instead of responding to the list, I contacted her directly about what I could make off her list then had to write back and explain my confusion. Anyway, to make a long story short, we decided that we'd do a personal swap so we could make all the wonderful goodies for each other. Since we were involved in the other swap as well, we gave ourselves a long creating time which allowed both of us to continuously add to it.

I was so completely blown away by all the MANY crocheted items she made for me. (Also, in the ongoing holiday swap, she also made the neatest little gnome and a fleece tinkerbelle blanket with a crochet lining)

Here is what was included in our personal swap: penguin, kirby, web blanket for my Spidery fan, two large towels with crocheted flap to button on the oven door, LOTS of pot holders, and LOTS of various types of scrubbies. I love scrubbies.

Isn't that blanket impressive!

SCORE!! Check out all the loot. Thanks again Miss Barbara!

Awwwww...thanks!  It DOES look awesome  Grin but it really wasn't difficult to make at all, once I got the hang of the pattern.

I received a Wonderful package from gotgrey.  She was going to send me a bird egg necklace, which is great! But then she decided to add on some more items to completely spoil me!
The bird books and Blue (Think Rio the movie) Plushie are a surprise for Christmas for my son.  He will LOVE them!!  Thank you so much!
