Smmarrt, did you paint all those polka dots? I'm trying to figure out everyone techniques, because I want to do it better next round Wink.

No - it's hole punches and scrapbook and scrap paper. I have a set of graduated round punches (www.paperwishes.com) and I like to buy pretty scrapbook paper but I don't use it for scrapbooking. So I am always trying to think of ways to use the paper. And I'm not much of an artist - when it comes to painting or drawing - so collaging and cut'n'paste work well for me.

OK, I have some catching up to do...I've been away for 2 weeks and I come hope to find my letterbox stuffed full of creative genius!

I'm doing lots of personal altered puzzle piece swaps running along side the official swap that is happening atm. I missed out on the official sign ups, but managed to find enough kind people to team up with to do a whole 16 piece puzzle (I did 3 pieces myself). Here is what I have received in the last 2 weeks:

From Smmarrt

From Llisaredd

From Jillhogan

From Curiousfey

From Seeuudee

And here is my almost completed puzzle

Just waiting for the final 3 pieces to arrive now. I can't wait!!!!! Still trying to work out what to do with the puzzle 'frame'. I know it can't stay plain, but to simply paint it black or to be more inspired. My mum brought over some ribons and buttons when she visited, so I may stick some of those on. Any ideas?

Also I did an extra element with Llisaredd. She wanted green inchies, so I crafted some of those for her (I think they are displayed earlier in this gallery) and I recieved these amazing inchies from here. They are made from fabric, chopped into tiny pieces!

Close up:

Oho, this is making me happy! I can see a puzzle, nearly complete, and I know that my three pieces are well on their way! *wooot!*
Can't wait to see how they'll fit in. Just cannot remember what the third piece looks like... I had a *** piece, and one with ***... *ponders* I havr to correct over 80 exams, is that a valid excuse?

I received alter puzzle pieces from carinafox5. THey are so cute. My theme is woodland creatures. She sent a very sweet fairy wing too. Very pretty. My camera does not do any of the items justice.

Thanks carinafox5

I was in a personal swap with Mieljolie and am finally posting pictures of the wonderful things she sent me. ML, I'm so sorry it took me so long to post pictures of the wonderful things you made for me. I assure you, it was not from lack of enthusiasm for what you sent!
She did an amazing job....everything was so thoughtfully crafted especially for me. It was a privilege swapping with you Darlin'!

Absolutely gorgeous Boo't and spell book.

Another view. I just love these.....

MJ did a great job stalking me...this little trinket was inspired by one of my wists.

An awesome pair of earrings. I couldn't get a good picture of what's inside the wee birdhouses, but they are birds with skulls on their backs. How cool is that?!

She also made (with the help of her lovely daughter) a gorgeous  hand painted Day of the Dead mask that I couldn't get a picture of as my camera started doing weird things.
MJ if you could post a pic of it I would be grateful. It is too pretty not to show off!
Thank you, thank you for all the wonderful things you made. I love everything and feel so spoiled!
I have to mention that we had a small dinner party for the DH's birthday last Saturday and I had my boo't and spell book displayed. Everyone was oohing and aahing over them! You rock girl!!
