I recently did a personal swap with Pearliepie. She was an awesome swap partner, and it was so stress-free swapping with her. Smiley Just what I needed!

As a bonus, her hoop for me arrived right at my birthday! What timing! Wink

With no further ado:

Isn't she just a sweetie! I love the colors an fabric choices. In fact, after seeing this and my other most recently received hoop, by husband helped me designate a hoop wall!! I'm super excited!

PS: I also received a bag of beads for my stash, but I forgot to take pics. Whoops!

I'm doing a personal swap with Oodelally. I sent her 80 fussy-cut fabric squares for an I-spy quilt and she is working on some cushion covers for me. She was feeling (needlessly) guilty as she is still working on the cusion covers so she ordered this fabulous quilt pattern for me from 'don't look now'
I can't wait to get into it, I think I might do my daughters initials in hoops first for their bedroom walls.

i did a personal swap with atsuko - she was wanting some hand looms that i had, and i was in the market for some of her crafty wonderfullness!  i received my goodies today and i'm just tickled!

first, the goods:

some very awesome lego and puzzle piece soaps.  i wonder if i'll be able to keep my husband and daughter out of these long enough to use them for our next house party?  we'll see.  they smell great, they look awesome.  couldn't be happier.
and that's just the begining!

a whole lotta felt food!  i've been wanting some felt food for my little guy for a while, and i think he might be just as excited as i am (action shots below).  my favorite are the eggs, the carrots, and the apple.  fyi - if you are a 14mo old boy, an apple easily doubles as a ball.

and behold . . .

a baby poppet!
and you cannot tell, but if he were not wearing his diaper you could see that he is a baby boy poppet.  my little man loves babydolls, and this is a perfect baby doll for a little boy to have!  he's been hugging it and cuddling it and kissing it ever since i pulled him out of the box.  we'll have to work on a name for "baby" later.

now, action shots!

very excited about donuts!

loving his baby

surveying all that is his

yeah!  awesome swap!

Lego soaps? What a wonderfully sneaky way to persuade a nine year old boy to take a bath! Wink

Wow Jo-mama. What an awesome package. I've been eyeing up some of that soap in the Swap the shop thread, just trying to think who might like them!

I recieved some purple inchies all the way from Seeuede in the UK (she also sent me uk chocolate, but it was yummy and is all gone!)

Just waiting for one last package if purple inchies before I finish off my frame!

I so enjoyed creating your purple inchies!

I am so late in putting up pictures of the beautiful inchies Nilmerg sent me in return! They are just stunning - I gave her a few themes to play with and this is what I received.

One theme was books/words/quotes and she made these amazing word inchies, which I just love, esp. the Mr Man one!!

I also suggested the themes under the sea and rainbow, never imagining she would combine the 2! And I just adore them all, although if I had to pick a favourite, it would have to be the cartoon green seahorse - so cute!!

I also got some lovely chocolate - long gone!! And a lovely recipe, which I had not tried yet, but am planning to very soon! Thank you Nilmerg for a fantastic swap!

I'm the organizer for the current paper swap, and my partner from the rock swap, jeannettew32, wanted to participate, but wouldn't be finished with her first swap in time. So, she and I did a personal swap, where I sent her papercrafting supplies (as a Giver) and she sent me a thank-you gift (as a Needer). Without further ado, here are the lovely things she sent me!

She made this adorable miniature cabinet:

Look how cute the little jars and books are!

Also there was a pretty rock, a leaf! button, and a skully charm:

inside this awesome little pouch:

That is the coolest duct tape ever!

Thanks so much, Jeannette! It was so much fun swapping with you! Smiley

In the end, only kindness matters.
