I missed the sign-up dates for the last matchbox swap, and was complaining taking note of this in the forum.  teachart kindly asked me if I wanted to do a private swap.  I jumped at the chance. of course.  Well, her package to me was finally deemed worthy by both boarder and postal interrogateres, and I have pictures to prove it..

Look at all this cool stuff!  The matchbox is the Octolady with the reflecting eyes over on the left. Left of her is a Where's Waldo pencil (tho I was thinking more, What Is Waldo Doing To That Pencil?), cool photo of a cow, a neeto cuff bracelet (fits too!), a bunch of stuff that was stuffed into the matchbox, a tube of glow in the dark (!!!!)varnish, her first ever stuffie (which is a lip balm caddie as well), lemony soap (LOVE the smell...and I'm picky heheh), a neat vintage handkerchief, green fuzzy fabric, spools, and 2 little paper peacocks (one is open and one closed in photo).

Here is a close pic of the stuffie.  She also sent this book, which is scratch off hangman.

And here is an artsy photo of the poodle imagining a cow eating the ocotodolls bouffant hair do..
Thanks a bunch Emily;D.  Your such a fun swap partner Grin

Love that artsy photo!!
I'm funny about smells too suereal- I do love that soap though, plus I wanted to send you something local Smiley

LOL about Waldo- maybe that's why he's got that goofy look on his face! (and maybe that's why he's not around anymore??)

I recently swapped with kittymom13. You may remember she posted a photo of her yarn scraps a while ago. Well, she sent them to me. Smiley Along with some brownie recipes, an awesome scarf, and two great little mug rugs. Sadly, the weather has been gorgeous here lately, so it hasn't quite been mug weather. But i live in Washington, so the rain can't be far away. Cheesy
The rugs, which i'd asked for:
They've both got the same material on the back, but on the coffee one, it's inside out... WHICH I LOVE!
(I'd just been talking to a friend about how sometimes i like the back of the fabric more than the side you're supposed to see. So, when i opened up the box and saw that, it was so cool.)
The scarf is a really cool orange, with a variegated trim. The orange of the scarf exactly matches the orange in the trim. (Not that i'm ever concerned about clothes matching, but that's pretty awesome.)

And i always post a group shot:

While waiting for the next round of the altered puzzle swap, JillHogan and I got anxious, and decided to swap puzzle peices of our own. I got mine, two wonderfully done based on the theme zombies:

And my pieces from Lillibet!  Love them both!  The wrapping paper is unique, and the watermelon is adorable.  She also sent chocolate and fun extras!

check out this lovely and adorable hoop that nilmerg made for me in our personal swap. I love it! She chose brown floss, which just happens to match my livingroom and looks fantastic on my wall.  Thanks so much for your stitching,  nilmerg!
